  • POSTPARTUM DEPRESSION SUPPORT AND RESOURCES

As many as 30% of new mothers will develop a mental illness during pregnancy or up to 12 months after giving birth.

The baby blues affect 85% of new mothers and usually go away within a few days after giving birth. The symptoms are not severe and do not need treatment.

The symptoms of postpartum depression on the other hand include prolonged periods of emotional disturbance, occurring within the first year. If left untreated PPD can have significant consequences for both the new mother and family.

At Mothereaze we’ve developed our services around supporting mothers to get well and stay well. Our specially crafted¬†Group Workshops, Relaxation Techniques as well as In-Home Support are available as you recover and start to establish a rhythm over the next few months.
